Smoking 🚬 Ganja on name of Lord Shiva , doesn't make you Shiv Bhakt !

Shiva is associated with the Bilva leaf, with the Cannabis 🌿 etc. Here is an extract that you may find illuminating, May Lord Shiva bless you with calmness and Intellect. Remember Intoxication is not Illumination. One does not need to be intoxicated to realize the truth and godhood.

1.Lord Shiva's association with Ganja:

God is absolute. He is all powerful and supreme. He is the source of all energy and he does not need any input from outside to be able to function or act. In fact, since he is all pervasive, there is nothing which is not him. All that we see in the material universe are nothing other than his manifestations. In Hinduism, Lord Shiva is considered as the embodiment of the Highest reality. He is the Supreme Godhead worshipped as Linga.

2.God is absolute:

Lord Shiva is often depicted as a mendicant with the ash from the burial grounds smeared all over his body. He wears a ragged animal skin and moves about like a weird one in the crematory grounds dancing in ecstasy. Often, he is also shown to smoke Ganja. There is a lot of significance behind this depiction.

3.Ganja is an intoxicant:

Ganja is an intoxicant. In spirituality, intoxication is a symbol of supreme awareness though we can't say that all those who are intoxicated are self realized. Those who have renounced the world and are seeking the highest truth are transported to higher levels of consciousness when they take intoxicants. This is in no way a condition similar to the one of those ignorant beings who enter the spells of more delusion and illusion when intoxicated.

4.Ganja can never intoxicate Shiva:

Ganja can never intoxicate Shiva. He is in the perfect state that can never be altered or tampered. However, interpreting the symbol behind Lord Shiva smoking Ganja, we can give the meaning of sun that shines on this universe. Sun  is so powerful. It can just evaporate dirty water and extract its pure essence that is free of the contaminants. Similarly, nothing can affect Lord Shiva.

Interwoven into this narrative are several smaller stories about people dead or living, and philosophical discourses." Chapter 1: King Shantanu and Bheeshma Long, long ago, in ancient India, King Shantanu ruled the kingdom of Hastinapura. For centuries, Hastinapura was ruled by the Kuru family of King Shantanu. But Ganga had to go away to take care of so many people (she was the river Goddess).  So she left Bheeshma in the care of his father. Some years later, King Shantanu  married a fisherwoman named Satyavati and had two sons Vichitraveerya and Chitrangada. When he was old enouhj, Vichitraveerya became the King of Hastinapura. Why is Holika Dahan celebrated ?

Holika Dahan (2021) According to Hindu scriptures Holika Dahan, which is also known as Holika Deepak or Chhoti Holi, should be done during Pradosh Kaal (which starts after sunset) while Purnimasi Tithi is prevailing. 🙏 Beware, Tithi depends according to your location; please check a regional Panchangam to be precise. ❓ Why is Holika Dahan celebrated ? Holika Dahan marks the the victory of good over evil. According to history, Hiranyakashyap - a demon king had become very powerful and no one could overpower him. His son Prahlad was an ardent follower of Lord Vishnu and Hiranyakashyap had stopped him from worshipping the god. He had attempted to kill his son Prahlada by making him sit on a burning pyre with his aunt Holika, who had a boon that prevented her from being harmed. Prahlada chanted Lord Vishnu's name and Holika was burnt but no harm came to him. ❤️ Share your photos/videos of “Holika Dahan” 's celebration, in comments below. 👇

Why bad things happen to good people?

Why bad things happen to good people? ” is an excellent question.  There are no easy answers. Lord Krishna said: CREATION IS HIS LEELA - childlike expression of God.  * Lord Krishna said, good and bad things happen to people according to their accumulated karmic debt.  * Sometimes those "karmic debt" may be due to the actions done in this life BUT also it could be due to the "Karmic debt" inherited through previous lives.  * God has given us absolute freedom of thoughts and actions and what we do with that freedom is left to each one of us. Lord Krishna said: “God does not decide Karma each one of us should do, nor he induce people to act, nor does he creates fruits of any action. Each person acts according to his Vasanas (Past and present perceptions of mind).” ( B.G 5:15 ) Lord Krishna said: “God is not responsible for anyone’s sinful (Papa) activities or pious (Punya) activities. People are mistaken about this Since their knowledge is covered by ignorance. ( B....
