Why bad things happen to good people?” is an excellent question. 


There are no easy answers.


Lord Krishna said: CREATION IS HIS LEELA - childlike expression of God. 



* Lord Krishna said, good and bad things happen to people according to their accumulated karmic debt. 


* Sometimes those "karmic debt" may be due to the actions done in this life BUT also it could be due to the "Karmic debt" inherited through previous lives. 


* God has given us absolute freedom of thoughts and actions and what we do with that freedom is left to each one of us.


Lord Krishna said:

“God does not decide Karma each one of us should do, nor he induce people to act, nor does he creates fruits of any action. Each person acts according to his Vasanas (Past and present perceptions of mind).”

( B.G 5:15 )


Lord Krishna said:

“God is not responsible for anyone’s sinful (Papa) activities or pious (Punya) activities. People are mistaken about this Since their knowledge is covered by ignorance.

 Holika Dahan (2021) According to Hindu scriptures Holika Dahan, which is also known as Holika Deepak or Chhoti Holi, should be done during Pradosh Kaal (which starts after sunset) while Purnimasi Tithi is prevailing. 🙏 Beware, Tithi depends according to your location; please check a regional Panchangam to be precise. ❓ Why is Holika Dahan celebrated ? Holika Dahan marks the the victory of good over evil. According to history, Hiranyakashyap - a demon king had become very powerful and no one could overpower him. His son Prahlad was an ardent follower of Lord Vishnu and Hiranyakashyap had stopped him from worshipping the god. He had attempted to kill his son Prahlada by making him sit on a burning pyre with his aunt Holika, who had a boon that prevented her from being harmed.
