Smoking 🚬 Ganja on name of Lord Shiva , doesn't make you Shiv Bhakt !

Shiva is associated with the Bilva leaf, with the Cannabis 🌿 etc. Here is an extract that you may find illuminating, May Lord Shiva bless you with calmness and Intellect. Remember Intoxication is not Illumination. One does not need to be intoxicated to realize the truth and godhood. 1.Lord Shiva's association with Ganja: God is absolute. He is all powerful and supreme. He is the source of all energy and he does not need any input from outside to be able to function or act. In fact, since he is all pervasive, there is nothing which is not him. All that we see in the material universe are nothing other than his manifestations. In Hinduism, Lord Shiva is considered as the embodiment of the Highest reality. He is the Supreme Godhead worshipped as Linga. 2.God is absolute: Lord Shiva is often depicted as a mendicant with the ash from the burial grounds smeared all over his body. He wears a ragged animal skin and moves about like a weird one in the crematory grounds dancing in ecstasy. ...

Why bad things happen to good people?

Why bad things happen to good people? ” is an excellent question.  There are no easy answers. Lord Krishna said: CREATION IS HIS LEELA - childlike expression of God.  * Lord Krishna said, good and bad things happen to people according to their accumulated karmic debt.  * Sometimes those "karmic debt" may be due to the actions done in this life BUT also it could be due to the "Karmic debt" inherited through previous lives.  * God has given us absolute freedom of thoughts and actions and what we do with that freedom is left to each one of us. Lord Krishna said: “God does not decide Karma each one of us should do, nor he induce people to act, nor does he creates fruits of any action. Each person acts according to his Vasanas (Past and present perceptions of mind).” ( B.G 5:15 ) Lord Krishna said: “God is not responsible for anyone’s sinful (Papa) activities or pious (Punya) activities. People are mistaken about this Since their knowledge is covered by ignorance. ( B....

Why is Holika Dahan celebrated ?

Holika Dahan (2021) According to Hindu scriptures Holika Dahan, which is also known as Holika Deepak or Chhoti Holi, should be done during Pradosh Kaal (which starts after sunset) while Purnimasi Tithi is prevailing. 🙏 Beware, Tithi depends according to your location; please check a regional Panchangam to be precise. ❓ Why is Holika Dahan celebrated ? Holika Dahan marks the the victory of good over evil. According to history, Hiranyakashyap - a demon king had become very powerful and no one could overpower him. His son Prahlad was an ardent follower of Lord Vishnu and Hiranyakashyap had stopped him from worshipping the god. He had attempted to kill his son Prahlada by making him sit on a burning pyre with his aunt Holika, who had a boon that prevented her from being harmed. Prahlada chanted Lord Vishnu's name and Holika was burnt but no harm came to him. ❤️ Share your photos/videos of “Holika Dahan” 's celebration, in comments below. 👇

Why Is a Coconut Offered in a Temple?

Our rishis and munis studied different plants and trees, and various other aspects of nature in depth. They found that the coconut was the most auspicious fruit, as it has the potency to draw divine vibrations from the outer world . For this reason, it is also known as shriphal or ‘divine fruit’. When the coconut is broken by smashing it on the ground, one can hear a sound similar to that of the monosyllabic mantra, ‘phut’, which can ward off the ill effects of an evil eye. The coconut is one of the most common offerings in a temple. The shape of this fruit is akin to a human head with three eyes. When it is to be offered to a deity, it should be offered with the eye side facing the deity as this is the sensitive side of the fruit that can receive divine vibes from the idol . According to legend, the coconut was created by the rishi Vishwamitra .  coconut water, like Gangajal, is deemed sacred. It is sprinkled to remove the negativity of an affected area and also to purify a place....

Why is Lord Ganesha is Workshipped first?

Literally, Ganesha means the king of ganas or earthly deities. He is also Known as Vighneshwara or the dispeller of all obstacles.  Lord Ganesha ji Ganesha is regarded as the lord of the earth , just as Vishnu is the lord of Vaikuntha, the abode of Vishnu, and Shiva of Mount Kailash. According to legend, Ganesha was born from the peeled-off waste that his mother, Goddess Parvati, rubbed off from her body one day, before taking her This goes to show that Ganesha is associated with the element of earth. For this reason, priests use a lump of earth in lieu of an image of Ganesha during certain rituals.  It is strongly believed that no human effort on earth is successful without the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Hence, he is propitiated before launching any new venture. Another reason to appease Ganesha first is that all human thoughts are expressed in the naad-bhasha or the language of words, but the language of gods, goddess and deities who live in the astral world is praka...

Why Bells Are There In Temples?

Have you ever wondered "why bells are there in temples"? It is an age old tradition to ring the bell of the temple upon entering its premises. Bell ringing is an ancient Vedic ritual and one can see multiple bells hanging over the domes in many Indian shrines. It is said that the devotees knock God’s entrance to ask permission upon entering his holy sanctum. Making temple bells is a whole science . " The bell is made up of a mixture of five metals – lead, copper, zinc, iron, and tin" to which it is measured based on ratio and specification. Each of these bells is made to produce such a distinct sound that it can create a harmony between your left and right brains. The moment you ring that bell, it produces sharp but lasting sound vibration which lasts for minimum of seven seconds in echo mode — long enough to touch your seven healing centers (or chakras) in your body. The moment bell sound happens your brain is emptied of all thoughts . Invariably, you will enter ...

Why did lord krisha choose Arjuna instead of karna, Dronacharya, Bhisma?

Mahabharata is epic and always continues to fascinate people, even for those who know the least. It is a great treasure of facts and knowledge and it is impossible for anyone to know everything. Many of the facts omitted or even unknown to people. Mahabharata shows us the application of philosophy when it comes to deciding between right and wrong in cases where the answer is not simple. Mahabharata’s four main characters are Arjuna, Karna, Dronacharya, and Bhishma . From Karna, Drona, Bhisma, and Arjuna, it is Arjuna who stands out from the four as the hero. Karna, Drona, and Bhishma are remembered as tragic heroes. They all experienced sad deaths on the battlefield. So why does Lord Krishna choose Arjuna instead of Karna? Karna was a great warrior, in many ways greater than Arjuna. They may have been equal as archers, but physically, Karna was by far the stronger of the two. And even in sticking to one’s principles,  But in Karna’s life, there was one fatal flaw. He made his fri...
